The Central Jakarta administration simultaneously held cleanup action in 24 monasteries and pagodas spread across six sub-districts.
Central Jakarta Acting Vice Mayor, Iqbal Akbarudin expressed that the cleanup action in 24 monasteries and pagodas spread across six sub-districts was not the first time. The same action was previously also carried out in churches ahead of the 2022 Christmas celebrations.

Central Jakarta Satpol PP Community Protection Division Head, IIyas Adi Bayu expressed that there were 24 active monasteries and pagodas spread across six districts.
"In total, we deploy 30 joint personnel in each sub-district," he stated.
He explained it was aimed at helping residents who will celebrate Chinese New Year to take place comfortably and safely.
Today's action was preceded by a ceremony at around 8 AM and was attended by 200 personnel from various Jakarta regional apparatus organizations (OPD).
Those 24 monasteries and pagodas cleaned were Maitreya Jaya Pagoda in Senen, Hot Tek Veng Zin Pagoda in Tanah Abang, Dharma Amurwahabhumi in Johar Baru, Lo Cia Bio Pagoda, and Bodhi Dharma Pagoda in Gambir.
